women for women International

Women for Women believes strong women build strong nations. Since 1993, they have helped more than 500,000 women in countries affected by war and conflict by providing them with the support and skills needed to move toward economic self-sufficiency. The group brings women together to share their experiences and build support networks so they are able to overcome barriers that keep them from reaching their full potential. They also engage men to become allies and advocates for women’s empowerment.  Learn more at WOMENFORWOMEN.ORG

American Association of University Women

The AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research by providing practical solutions in schools, workplaces and communities. They fight to remove the barriers and biases that stand in the way of gender equity and train women to negotiate for pay and benefits and to pursue leadership roles.  Their members and staff advocate on local, state and federal levels for laws and policies to ensure equity and end discrimination.
